We implemented a simple way for you to contact drivers without leaving the system, making a phone call, or sending out emails. This way, you can get in touch with your drivers in the tap of a button, all without leaving the system.
Note: The messaging feature only becomes available after you’ve uploaded your truck driving job to YouCruit and have begun receiving driver applications, either through the Lanefinder app or another advertising method.
How it works
Once you have some begin to receive some applicants, your overview page should look something like this:
You can see a brief overview as well as where your driver applications have come from.
Once you’ve clicked on a driver, you’ll be able to see their full profile. From here, you can track which hiring stage they’re in, as well as whether or not they’re qualified or rejected. You can also look over their details and reach out to them.
We recommend calling a driver as soon they apply, but if you aren’t able to get through to them that way, then click the big orange “Message” button.
Once you click the message button, a messaging box should pop up at the bottom of your screen. This should look pretty familiar!
Drivers will receive the message through the Lanefinder app, which allows them to track their applications, job opportunities, and more.
Once you’ve sent your message, you can move on to the next driver. As you know, a lot of drivers are on the road, so it might take them some time to respond.
To keep up to date with all the drivers you’re chatting with, simply press the chat bubble button at the top of the page and you’ll see an overview of all the conversations you’re currently having.
